Well married Matthau gets bored and start learning with friend Morse how to cheat his wife. Morse
teaches him through tales (vignettes) and explanations, while Matthau begins to prepare his adventure.

A very interesting and light comedy, directed by Gene Kelly, with a very fine cast, good screenplay, and entertaining from start to end. The many cameo appearances of the all-star cast is the main feature of the film. Inger plays Matthau's loving and beautiful wife, which begs the question of why he would consider cheating on her in the first place. One of Inger's best movies.
